Some clients stall no matter how good your work is

Usually it’s because every decision still runs through the founder. We give their team a plan they can run, so your work has something to land on. You earn a referral fee, and when the plan calls for what you do, you hear about it first.

Have you heard this from one of your leads or clients?

Each one means the business still runs through the founder. Quick test: would it stall if they took a month off?

  1. The founder saysMy team just doesn’t get me.

The team saysWe don’t know what they want.

The founder has never had time to say what they want, so the team guesses.

  2. The founder saysIt’s faster if I just do it myself.

The team saysEverything waits on their sign-off.

Every decision runs through one person, so the team waits instead of deciding.

  3. The founder saysI can’t take a week off.

The team saysShiny project syndrome again.

The business moves at the speed of one person, and nobody has written down what comes first.

If you hear one of these, send them our way. We know what to do.

Every partner makes the ecosystem better for everyone in it

We don’t advertise. Founders find us through people they trust, and most of your clients probably found you the same way. A good word from someone who knows the founder still works when ads don’t.

Most of us run small shops, and each of us fixes one part of a founder’s business. On our own, we’re one more vendor. Connected, we’re the team the founder never had, and the work keeps moving between us.

  • You bring us a founder
  • We write their plan
  • The build goes back out to the ecosystem

Who joins the ecosystem

  • Brokers, M&A advisors and exit planners

A business that runs through its owner sells for less, if it sells at all. Send us the sellers who aren’t ready yet, and you get them back when they are.

  • Fractional CFOs, COOs and CMOs

You’re hired to run a plan nobody wrote down. We write it from how the founder already wins, so your hours go into running it.

  • EOS implementers and business coaches

Your clients have the meeting rhythm down and still close the big deals themselves. We build the revenue side with their team.

  • Agencies, HubSpot partners and RevOps shops

Leads die in a sales process that only exists in the founder’s head, and your work takes the blame. We write that process down, so what you build matches how they actually sell.

  • Bankers, CPAs and wealth advisors

You see growth stall in the numbers before the founder mentions it. Send them then, while there’s still time to change course.

RLL Brand Ecosystem

Beta

Your intake, onboarding and discovery, already done

Every client we work with has a brand ecosystem: one private system with everything we’ve learned about how they win, written down and kept current. Most firms never get to document a client this well (it’s the first thing that slips when everyone’s busy). When you build for that client, you get full access to it with the founder’s OK.

Summit Lane’s portal home, with the plan grouped three ways: Living (Brand Codex, personas, objections, competition, sales channels, scorecards, goals), Reports (Financial Decode, research snapshots) and Build guides (pipeline steps, assets, launch timeline, tech stack).

Plug your AI into all of it

Connect Claude or OpenAI to the client’s brand ecosystem through the RLL MCP server. Your AI reads the current plan every time, so first drafts come out in the client’s voice, written to the right buyer, with the objections already handled.

You turn out deliverables faster, with fewer rounds of edits, and what you hand the client fits them from the first draft. It’s read-only: your AI pulls from the plan and never changes it.

An AI chat answering from Summit Lane’s brand ecosystem. Both exchanges are written out below the window.

You: Write the follow-up email for step 3 to the facilities director persona.

Assistant: Subject: What we found on Tuesday Maria, thanks for walking the site with us. We found the leak behind panel 4, and it’s the reason the last two repairs didn’t hold. We can fix it Thursday and you won’t need a second visit. Want us on the calendar?

Used from the plan: Brand Codex voice, Persona: Maria, facilities director, Objection: We already have someone for this, Objection: You’re more expensive, Step 3 asset: Follow-up email.

You: Which objection will the CFO raise, and how do we answer it?

Assistant: Tom usually says “You’re more expensive.” The approved answer: by about 12%. Last year the cheaper option meant a second visit three times in ten.

Used from the plan: Persona: Tom, CFO, Objection: You’re more expensive.

What you get

  1. Clients ready for your work

Once the founder’s way of winning is written down and the team can run it, your campaigns, plans and listings stop waiting on one person.

  2. The brief, already written

With the founder’s OK, full access to their brand ecosystem, from the Brand Codex™ to the systems map.

  3. Your AI, plugged in

Connect your AI to the client’s ecosystem through the RLL MCP server. It starts from the current plan, so you spend fewer rounds on edits.

  4. First right of refusal

We keep the client relationship. When the plan calls for what you do, you get first right of refusal on that work for the clients you bring us.

  5. A referral fee

On the first engagement your client signs, paid as we collect it. It can be a lead you’d rather not take on yet, or a client you already work with.

Our clients need help building their plans. We’d rather send that work to you.

You bring what you do best, we bring the plan, and the work keeps moving between us. We can’t wait to see what you’ve built.

Questions partners ask

  • Yes. Your rules limit referral fees, so we swap referrals and work together without fees in either direction.

  • No. We’re not a broker, an ad agency, an EOS implementer or a sales training program. When the plan calls for what you do, you get first right of refusal, and we don’t pitch our own people for that work first.

  • Founders who are still the whole team, founders who want a plan to file and nothing built, and founders who want everything to keep running through them.

  • Then you keep that work. We build the plan around it, and if it calls for more of what you do, you get first right of refusal on that too.

  • No. Most of us in the ecosystem run our own shops and live on results and referrals, and that’s easier to do together. Each of us does the part we’re best at, the founder ends up with a business that runs without them, and the work loops back to everyone who helped.

  • Any AI tool that can connect over MCP, Claude and ChatGPT among them. Your access is read-only and covers the clients you build for.
